My name is Carlos Eduardo Castro I am 35 years old and live in Oslo, Norway.
I just want to wish you welcome to my page, WELCOME :)
I love training and made it a profession to help other people to enrich their lifestyles.

I was adopted from Colombia to Norway so I grew up there but been living in Thailand, Mexico, Colombia, and Spain

 

My background

My background comes from football and weightlifting, I started out playing football as a kid until I was 19, started lifting weights at 14, and also played a year of handball. I  play football now in a team called Oslo's Street Football. And I run OCR runs for Nannestad IL and came nr 1 in Toughest Oslo 2023

 

In 2014 I found a new sport called calisthenics (training where you only use your body weight) or Streetworkout (the competition sports name).
 When I find something I like I go for it. There was this team there called TeamPhysix and they were rocking the bars and I wanted to do the same, I told my friend when I came home to give me some months and I wanted to be in the team.
Within 4 months of HARD training every day, I made it to the team. The main 
TV channel in Norway made a documentary about our team while I had my audition (episode 2 Norwegian language). You can watch the whole series by clicking here (Norwegian language) or the English version by clicking here.
It is a great caption of a great team, great time, and great people.


I become a member of the Scandinavian biggest Streetworkout team TeamPhysix. We perform shows, workshops, competitions, and other training events all around Norway and Europe.
We invited people to train with us every Sunday at 12 in the park and we were up to 120 people the most training and just enjoin good times together.

We do exercises like pushups, pullups, situps, squats, and other bodyweight exercises. But also harder moves like the human flag, back lever, front lever, and handstands.
During shows and competitions, we did tricking and dancing on parallels and high bar.

Yes, friends so who am I?
I am very passionate about my work, I go far to make my clients feel happy and satisfied. I can also assist with shopping food, food recipes, and other training-related stuff.
I am also the personal trainer whom you can meet up beside the sessions too. As u understand I love to travel and meet new people and get new friends. So why not grab a great meal and share a story or two and learn something from it.
Who are my clients?

My clients are all different some are old some are young some are big some are small, and that is good. It helps me grow and develop as a personal trainer. I do everything from group sessions to home training, to outdoor training.
My specialty is training with little or nothing training equipment in the surroundings around us. learn how to train without a gym membership that costs a lot and you will find it funny how much better training is outdoors on the beach or in a park or home, with only 1 equipment, your self.
That makes me provide a service that I can come to your home or we can go to the park to have a great session if you have a busy schedule.

My journey as a personal trainer

In 2014 I become a member of TeamPhysix. After that I have been privileged to work and meet a lot of new people, everything from training big groups up to 120 persons in the park in the summer to work with troubled youths where I did training and lecturing in a youth club. I also went around Norway (with 2 of my teammates) teaching and lecturing on how to use different training parks and of course we put on a show to show what you can achieve.
I got my personal training education trough Norway leading personal training school AFPT in 2016 and after that, I have gained a lot of courses and experience (see certifications and courses ).

Gymnastic classes in school where I had 8 to 10-grade kids, they learn to exercise properly and use the training park. The kids have been doing everything from push-ups, dips, squats, and pull-ups.

Don't forget the basics, the basics are important for a strong and healthy body.

I have been working in different training centers where I have gained a lot of knowledge from my co workers but also from my clients too. The biggest of them was SIOAthletica, Athletica has different training centers around Oslo the capital of Norway focusing on students since it's part of the Universety of Oslo.
Regular personal training sessions and
 classes like TRX, Chalistenics+, and administrative work.
I decided to start my own company in 2020 and that is the jurney im curently on so come joine me on my jurney.

What will this site provide?

On this page, I will provide you with information about me and my jurney as a personal trainer, prices, trainingtips, photos and videos of training exercises. You can also get your training program in video form, I use GoPro that provides us with the perfect video quality so you can see the exercises you going to do on your computer, mobile or ipad so you always know what to do and how to do it.
