What is the perfect breakfast?

Updated: May 22, 2020

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, that’s what I think. The breakfast is whats get you going in the morning. What is the perfect breakfast? it can be so much but I will let you know what I think and how my breakfast looks like to get a kickass start off the day.

Energy, energy is important especially after a nice long night of sleep so I start my day always with oatmeal. But not only oatmeal I like to add different seeds, fruits, and berries to get that taste and the nutrition that I need for an awesome start of the day.

So this is what I like to have in my breakfast and why:

Oatmeal: A great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. oatmeal has many health benefits. These include weight loss, lower blood sugar levels, and a reduced risk of heart disease.

Milk/water: Since in lactose intolerant I use water or milk without lactose. The milk helps with more flavor to the breakfast as well.

Banana: Gives great energy, du to they are high on carbs and helps your body maintain a healthy heart and blood pressure. In addition, bananas are low in sodium. The low sodium and high potassium combination help to control high blood pressure.

Strawberries: Great source of vitamin C and manganese and also contain decent amounts of folate (vitamin B9) and potassium. Strawberries are very rich in antioxidants and plant compounds, which may have benefits for heart health and blood sugar control and they are sweet and delicious

Sesame seeds: Contain folate and lots of iron that’s important for blood production in the body while containing many other minerals that are good for the body too. I also like to fry sesame seeds and add to different meals especially when I’m cooking Asian food

Sunflower seeds: The seeds have a lot of vitamin E which strengthens the immune system. The seeds also have lots of iron and B vitamins. The seeds contain selenium, which strengthens the immune system in your body

Flaxseeds: Contain folate and lots of iron (same as sesame seeds) that are important for blood production in the body. You also get selenium (like in the sunflower seeds), which strengthens the immune system. Flaxseed also has a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, contributing to healthy cells in the brain and the rest of the body.

Sometimes I like to add:

Hemp seeds: They have a lot of omega 3 fatty acids as well that will strengthen the immune system. One of the best sources to get minerals like iron and magnesium.

Quinoa seeds: Contains large amounts of carbohydrates, but also have so much protein and healthy fat, part of the fat is of the omega-3 type. It also contains a lot of iron, lots of potassium, calcium, and other vitamins.

Coconut grit: Are highly nutritious, Coconuts are especially high in manganese, which is essential for bone health and the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and cholesterol and it tastes awesome in your serial

Cornflax: Just to get some more taste to it

Too drink beside

Juice with chia seeds: Fiber-rich seeds are full of antioxidants that strengthen the immune system

Most of the fat is omega-3, perfect to add in your juice of choice. My personal favorite guava juice

Protein shake: Now I'm not using any protein shake, but I have tried many shakes true out my training career, some made me sick, some taste awful but I prefer the Whey explode chocolate shake from Tommy Nutrition when I'm using a protein shake, it’s low on lactose and contains: Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Egg white Protein, Micellar Casein, and Hydrolyzed Whey.

Perfect for me, read more about it or order, following this link here: https://www.tomminutrition.com/produkt/protein/whey-xplode-3000g-strawberry-5000

Together this will be a great mix to a healthy body and a great breakfast, enjoy.
